Methods for the Biophysical Characterization of Macromolecules:  Software, Tutorials, Protocols, and Workshops from DMAS/LCIMB

This website is designated for the distribution of software and other tools related with the biophysical techniques developed in the Dynamics of Macromolecular Assembly group of the Laboratory of Cellular Imaging and Macromolecular Biophysics, National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering, NIH.

The most widely used software tools developed by us are SEDFIT for analytical ultracentrifugation, EVILFIT for surface plasmon resonance biosensing, and SEDPHAT for the analysis of data from multiple techniques.  They can be downloaded from this location.

There is a semi-annual workshop on Hydrodynamic and Thermodynamic Analysis of Biological Macromolecules with SEDFIT and SEDPHAT.  More information about the dates, scope, and registration can be found here.
